A new South Park game is in development, seemingly without Ubisoft - choiwhyall
It's come to light that a new South Park gamy English hawthorn be in development according to the long-running serial' creators Trey Charles Christopher Parke and Matt Isidor Feinstein Stone.
The news comes by direction of a Bloomberg report of a new $900 million dollar take the pair have made with ViacomCBS. The six-year deal is aforesaid to include new episodes of the television series, several birl-off movies and "a 3D computer game that is set in the world of 'South Park'. What's more, according to an e-mail from Matt Stone himself claimed to have been sent to Bloomberg's Lucas Shaw, the game is already in development internally by an in-domiciliate studio.
However, it's interesting to note that—at the least for the moment—publishers Ubisoft do not seem to be complex. The company published the last two major games in the franchise: South Park: The Puzzle of Verity released in 2014 and follow in the lead To the south Park: The Fractured Merely Whole in 2017. While the first game was developed by Obsidian, the follow-up was developed by Ubisoft's own San Francisco studio. At the meter of writing, however, Ubisoft have not responded to requests for comment.
Commentator Colm Ahern said of the sequel in his review: "There are some clever lines in hither that land quite an well, but in contrast with the first game in the series, The Stick of Truth, South Park: The Fractured But Complete's sterling strength is in how IT plays rather than how it tells its tale."
